Remy joined IRS after completing her Master of Occupational Therapy at Swinburne University in 2026.

Through placements in community neurological rehabilitation, aged care and school-based settings, Remy developed a strong passion for community-based practice, valuing the opportunity to work alongside people in the environments where they live, learn and engage in valued occupations.

Remy has a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation, enjoying the complexity of working across cognitive, physical and psychosocial domains. She is passionate about supporting people to regain independence and re-engage in the hobbies, daily routines, and social activities that are most meaningful to them.

Remy is committed to providing collaborative, person-centred care – taking the time to build strong therapeutic relationships and develop a shared understanding of each client’s goals. She brings empathy, thoughtful communication and creative problem-solving to her practice, with a particular passion for LGBTQIA+ and culturally sensitive healthcare.

Before pursuing occupational therapy, Remy worked in the clothing and textiles industry, managing a sewing hub for a social enterprise that empowered women through education and employment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her favourite people and animals, cryptic crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, and creative pursuits including sewing and ceramics.
