We are a multidisciplinary specialist allied health service dedicated to maximizing independence and participation in your community.

Specialising in neurological, general rehabilitation and the disability sector, we work with a diverse range of conditions and complex needs to support our clients to realise their goals and their potential.

Whether you are starting your rehabilitation journey, are well along the road to recovery, or have recently received an NDIS service plan, Independent Rehabilitation Services is here to support you achieve your goals.

 We understand your needs no matter how simple or complex and work with you to participate fully in your life and your community.

 Our experienced clinicians have provided person-centred neurological and general rehabilitation Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology to adults and adolescents in their homes across metropolitan and outer suburban Melbourne since 1999.

We Have Moved Office

Join Our Team

If you are an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech Pathologist with an interest in working in community-based rehabilitation and disability you might be interested in joining us.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, our therapists manage their own caseload of community based clients, covering ABI, stroke, progressive neuro and spinal cord injuries. Our people have the opportunity to develop experience working in both the TAC and the NDIS sector.

At IRS we are committed to person centred therapy outcomes, lifelong learning, evidence-based practice and leading change. We provide a structured induction program, regular professional supervision, clinical mentoring, buddy program and research opportunities.

Make a Referral

We work with a range of referring organisations and individuals to help support people maximise their independence in the community.

We are a registered NDIS provider with extensive experience and knowledge in providing services to managed and self-managed participants, and also provide therapy services for other compensable bodies including TAC, WorkSafe and DVA. We also accept private referrals.
