Melissa Ta
Physiotherapist
Melissa completed Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne. Having previously worked in the public hospital system from acute hospital admission, to rehabilitation in sub-acute and community settings, Mel joined IRS to further her passion in neuro rehabilitation. These experiences reinforced Mel’s passion for patient-centred approach in working with patients across a variety of neurological conditions.
Mel enjoys working with clients and the wider multidisciplinary team, to problem solve together and support clients to achieve their community goals, whether that be optimising transfers, walking in the community, returning to a hobby or completing functional tasks around the home.
Outside of work, Mel loves learning random skills and is open to trying new things, including rollerskating and voice-acting. Her latest hobby involves a variety of crafts such as embroidery and crochet.
