Margaret is an Occupational Therapist with several years of clinical neurological experience, where she started working with IRS in 2020. Margaret chose to pursue OT after wanting to play more of an active role in people’s therapy after being a support worker for 3 years.

Margaret has worked closely with a range of different clients with varying functional goals and she has expertise in areas of:

• ADL retraining
• Cognitive rehabilitation
• Pain and fatigue management
• Home & living assessments
• Home modifications
• Equipment prescription

Margaret is also active in supporting her peers in both clinical and professional supervision, and enjoys working behind the scenes on a number of projects and portfolios. Margaret has a particular interest in working with clients who have diagnoses of Parkinson’s Disease, MS and Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI).

Outside of work, Margaret enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping, hiking and playing sports.

This year will Margaret celebrate 6 years with IRS.
