Lizzie Thomas
Physiotherapist
Lizzie is a UK trained physiotherapist with a background in both public and private hospital settings. After completing her degree at the University of Birmingham and working for a few years in the NHS, she decided to relocate to Melbourne.
Here she has continued to develop a passion for neurological rehabilitation. She has particular interest in people living with Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other progressive neurological conditions.
Lizzie decided to make the transition from the acute hospital setting to the community as she is passionate about helping clients achieve their personal goals within their own environment. She bases her approach on holistic and patient-centered care with a strong belief in the importance of building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
She also has particular interest in how different types of movement and exercise, such as Pilates, yoga and dance, can complement more traditional types of physiotherapy to achieve a client’s goals.
Outside of work Lizzie enjoys Pilates, time at the beach and catching up with friends as well as working through her never-ending Australia bucket list.
