Isabella Minato
Speech Pathologist
Isabella graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne in 2019, having previously completed a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduation, she worked in the community supporting both adult and paediatric clients on the NDIS. She has also spent 2 years living and working in the UK for the NHS, doing a mixture of inpatient and community work.
Isabella enjoys having a diverse caseload and has experience working with adults with stroke, brain injury, neurodegenerative conditions and other neurological conditions. In particular, she has extensive experience working in care homes supporting adults living with dementia to manage their swallowing and communication needs. Isabella has worked in the community since graduating and loves everything about this setting. She enjoys building relationships with her clients in their natural environments, and helping them work towards meaningful, functional goals that will
positively impact their day to day life. Isabella is client-centred in her approach and also really values working closely with the client’s family, carers and other supports to achieve great outcomes.
Outside of work, Isabella loves spending time with family and friends, eating out, playing netball and getting out of the city for camping and hiking trips.
