Crystal joined Independent Rehabilitation Services as a new graduate Occupational Therapist in 2026, after completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Monash University in 2025.

During her studies, she gained experience across diverse healthcare settings, including inpatient subacute rehabilitation, paediatric private practices, and disability services. She developed a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation during her final placement, where she worked closely with patients with neurological conditions such as stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.

Beyond her formal placements, Crystal has participated in volunteer work supporting individuals with disabilities and mental illnesses, deepening her commitment to client-centred, community-based care. Crystal is particularly interested in helping clients regain independence, rebuild meaningful routines, and reintegrate into the community through assistive technology, upper limb rehabilitation, and cognitive rehabilitation. She is passionate about building a strong relationship with her clients and supporting them to achieve their goals.

Crystal speaks conversational Mandarin and is able to provide occupational therapy in Mandarin.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Melbourne’s best food spots, and unwinding with music, movies, and dancing.
