Occupational Therapist

Blaine completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy at Latrobe University, Melbourne in 2013. He went on to complete 2 years in the Alfred Health graduated program in which he fulfilled roles in acute inpatient and community mental health.

Blaine has always had a keen interest in physical rehabilitation spending the past 2 years in a community roles specialised in treating stroke, traumatic brain injury and progressive disorders. Blaine is a firm believer of supporting clients within their natural environment and prides himself on having individualised approaches to building client rapport.

Areas of special interest included upper limb rehabilitation and postural management. Blaine’s primary goal is to assist clients in returning to functional meaningful activities.

Outside of work Blaine enjoys the gym.

Blaine will celebrate 3 years with IRS in 2022.
