Emily joined Independent Rehabilitation services as a new graduate Occupational Therapist in 2026, after completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University (ACU) in 2025.

During clinical placements, she has gained experience across a variety of settings including community-based rehabilitation, acute care, inpatient subacute rehabilitation and mental health. Emily has a strong interest in neuro rehabilitation, in particular stroke and traumatic brain injuries. She is drawn to the complexity of this population and the rewarding nature of supporting clients through recovery.

Emily is committed to supporting clients in regaining their independence and engaging in meaningful occupations through a variety of rehabilitation approaches. She is dedicated to forming strong client relationships and supporting them to achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys giving back to the community by mentoring teenagers in the Australian Navy Cadets. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking her dog to the beach, baking, camping and hiking.
