You’ll help clients achieve their goals – Our clinicians find this an incredibly rewarding aspect of the role. You’ll use an evidence-based approach, as well as some creativity, to support clients to achieve their goals. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, their families, supports, members of the multidisciplinary team and external providers such as TAC, NDIS and equipment providers, to ensure your clients’ needs are met. There are a few things that are essential for you to have in order to be successful in the role:- Experience working with adults with neurological conditions
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- A current drivers licence and a suitable vehicle
- Being a self-motivated lifelong learner, who is open to feedback
- Able to work autonomously, and seek support when required
- Being a client-centred, collaborative clinician
- An understanding of funding bodies such as TAC and NDIS
- Able to manage complex clinical and social situations, with support as needed
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Comprehensive writing skills
- Excellent reflection skills
