Janie’s passion for Speech Pathology is around working with clients and their families to achieve meaningful, functional goals that support them in their daily life. She uses Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and Assistive Technologies (AT) to help them to meet their goals.

Clients and their families are often referred to us after experiencing a traumatic event or diagnosis, and Janie is passionate about supporting them during this challenging time.

In addition to clinical work, Janie also manages the referral and intake process at IRS, working closely with our referring partners to ensure a smooth transition for new clients to our allied health services.

Outside of work, Janie enjoys spending time with family and friends, seeing live music, soaking up the sunshine whenever possible, camping and spending time outdoors, and indulging in her love of all things art and design.

This year Janie will celebrate 7 years with IRS.
