Georgia Timewell
Senior Occupational Therapist, Clinical Mentor Coordinator
Georgia is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience after graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy at LaTrobe University in 2001. She has experience working in both the private and public sectors across acute and rehabilitation hospitals to working with clients in their own homes and their communities. Georgia has extensive experience working with neurological clients including those with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological conditions.
Georgia supports her clients by providing:
– Prescription of specialised Assistive Technology
– Assessment, intervention and recommendations for meaningful functional tasks in home and in the community
– Upper limb rehabilitation
– Pain management strategies
– Review of care needs and support worker programs
– Carer training to optimise outcomes
Georgia is passionate about lifelong learning and supports others through supervision and mentoring and is our Clinical Mentor Coordinator.
Outside of work Georgia enjoys spending time in nature with family and friends.
This year Georgia will celebrate 5 years with IRS.
