Anna Sanchez

Anna is an experienced physiotherapist with breadth of experience, having worked across private practice, community and outpatient clinics, aged care, and hospital settings.

Anna has a particular love of working in the community, as this allows her an insight into her clients’ lives.

Anna is passionate about empowering her clients. She prides herself on being able to tailor therapeutic approaches to her client’s individual needs. This can involve utilising:

  • Exercise based therapy at home and in the gym
  • Aquatic therapy (hydrotherapy)
  • Engaging in sport and recreation
  • Engaging in employment and volunteering opportunities
  • Prescription of assistive equipment
  • Goal setting and facilitating an empowered approach to achieving goals

Anna achieved a post-graduate certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from Melbourne University in 2022, and has a special interest in helping clients with concerns relating to their pelvic health. She has particular interest in treating clients with:

  • Continence concerns
  • Pelvic pain
  • Pre and post-natal management, including exercise during and after pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, and abdominal muscle separation
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Stroke

Anna undertakes regular professional development to ensure that she can continue to offer effective evidence-based treatments.

On her days off, Anna loves reading, and spending time outdoors with her 2 dogs, Maisy and Milton.
