Teagan Harty
Physiotherapist
Teagan graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne after completing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree.
Throughout her academic journey, Teagan gained valuable experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care, sub-acute care, community rehabilitation, and disability services. During her placement at the Victorian Spinal Cord Service and her role as a Therapy Assistant for the NDIS, Teagan collaborated with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and funding bodies. This collaboration enabled her to deliver high-quality, personalised care that honoured each patient’s unique culture and identity.
These experiences sparked Teagan’s passion for providing patient-centred care within the community neurological field, where she is dedicated to supporting individuals on their holistic health journeys. She is particularly enthusiastic about expanding her knowledge and skills across a wide range of clinical areas as she continues her professional development in the neurological field.
Outside of work, Teagan enjoys spending time with her toy Cavoodle, making soy-wax candles, stand up paddle boarding, gardening and cheering on the Melbourne Football Club.
