Tanya qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2015 from the Australian Catholic University.
Since graduating Tanya worked in the Occupational Rehabilitation setting which provided her with the skills to deliver a client-centred and holistic approach to rehabilitation. With a focus on defence members, veterans and the TAC client population, she has worked with a wide range of complex client needs; including both physical and psychological conditions. Tanya has developed a strong passion for working with people with a brain injury in the context of their natural environment.
Tanya has particular experience and interest in equipment assessment and complex home modification recommendations. Tanya has a passion for fostering independence and facilitating client goal achievement. Tanya enjoys that no two days are the same and that she can make a difference in an individual’s overall well-being in their natural environment.
Outside of work Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, going away on weekends and strolling local markets.
Tanya celebrates 6 years with IRS in 2023 and is currently on maternity leave.
