Sophie Symes

Sophie completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University in 2021. During her studies and experience as a therapy assistant and support worker, Sophie developed a passion for neurological rehabilitation, particularly in the community setting. She has always found it a privilege to see clients within their own home environment and appreciates that performance outcomes often coincide with being in familiar environments.

Sophie has had experience supporting people to achieve their unique goals, she has strong interpersonal skills and maintains a strengths-based approach to her practice. She is motivated to support each individual to get back to doing what is meaningful and important in their lives.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys running, going on picnics and spending time with her friends and family.

This year Sophie will celebrate 2 years with IRS.
