Pip Hennessy
Occupational Therapist
Pip completed her Occupational Therapy degree at Australian Catholic University in 2022.
Since graduating, she has worked exclusively in the community space and has been a dedicated member of the IRS team.
For Pip, community-based therapy has always made the most sense; she views a person’s home and local environment as the “end goal” after an injury. She believes it is from this point that individuals can truly return to familiar, purposeful occupations.
Throughout her time in the field, Pip has honed her clinical skills in several key areas such as cognitive rehabilitation post TBI, return to study and work, advocating for suitable housing, community integration and access, holiday planning and more.
Pip has a keen interest in supporting individuals with varying neurological conditions. She prides herself on developing strong relationships with her clients, leveraging a shared enthusiasm for activity to drive progress. By using a client-centered approach, she ensures therapy remains focused on the specialty and uniqueness of each person’s rehabilitation journey.
Outside of work, Pip enjoys pottery, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
