Felicia graduated her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) from the University of Queensland in November 2019. During her degree, Felicia developed a strong foundation in all aspects of Occupational Therapy and completed her primary clinical placements within a hospital rehabilitation setting with an adult Stroke caseload and a Telehealth rehabilitation setting with a paediatric caseload.
Felicia has been a practicing Occupational Therapist since January 2020 in an acute hospital setting within Queensland Health. She has a keen interest in developing her knowledge and skills in the neurological rehabilitation field and a passion to empower people of all ages and abilities to reach their occupational goals within their home and community environments.
Prior to working as an OT, Felicia was taking care of patients of the 4-legged kind, working as a Veterinary Nurse for 6 years. One day, Felicia hopes to integrate animal-assisted therapy into her OT practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, going on bush walks and spending time with family and friends.
