Candice Chua

Occupational Therapist

Candice is a recent graduate who completed her Master in Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University in 2020. She has completed clinical placements in the areas of community neurological rehabilitation, community mental health, community NDIS, along with subacute spinal and acute mental health.

Candice completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing in 2015, and since then has had over 3 years of work experience as a registered nurse back in her home country (Singapore). As a registered nurse, Candice has worked in various settings such as acute medical/surgical, outpatient surgery and acute mental health, where she provided direct care to her clients and supported them in their road to recovery.

During her placement in community neurological rehabilitation, Candice developed a passion for supporting individuals with a neurological condition. She is dedicated to empowering clients to regain their independence and reach their personal goals.

In her free time, Candice enjoys singing and going out with friends for a bite. She also indulges in geeky hobbies such as anime and comics.
